WebJun 15, 2016 · My current cab TC40DA has Hydrostatic, and one of my previous ones had Hyd. shuttle shift. The Hydrostatic is WAY better for me, and that's the only trans I would personally buy. I'm looking at both a 4052r and 4066r at my dealer, and won't even consider a New Holland because they went to a CVT trans in place of the Hydrostat.
