WebMay 19, 2024 · I think Grasping + Shadow Arrow is a pretty common combo. Of course it kinda sucks to blow both uses in round 1. But anything that blocks sight like Darkness or Fog Cloud would work too. You can't use 2 arcane shots in one turn. It is limited to just one a turn. Not sure I understand how does blinding a target makes it move though? WebThe Bursting Arrow boasts an AOE without a saving throw and the Grasping Arrow does damage every round the target moves up to a minute at best, and at worst robs an enemy of their turn while they try to pass an athletics check.These are great options in my mind for a subclass that's not a spellcaster.

WebApr 29, 2007 · I'd tend to assume an arrow is even less sturdy, so make it 1 hit point. By the book, that means that if you happen to roll minimum damage for that Wall of Fire - (1 + 1 + 8) / 2 = 5 - then the arrow would take zero damage, since the damage doesn't exceed its hardness, and would sail through undamaged - but any higher roll would toast it.

If you create a custom magical item such as putting heal on the arrow, it works however you want it to work. It's your item. I'm sure there's an arrow of curing or some such item in perhaps the Book of Exalted Deeds or the Complete Divine.
