The YRA gives arrested youth offenders charged with a crime the ability to have their case sealed after successfully completing the requirements mandated. WebLaw 6-69, the “Youth Rehabilitation Amendment Act of 1985,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 6-47, which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. The bill was adopted on first and second readings on June 25, 1985 and July 9, 1985, respectively.
